The ID100US pre-packed & sterile transponder is the latest in our range of transponders.

A 11.5mmx2.2mm transponder preloaded in a lancet delivery system that has been designed to give

the user maximum control for precision placement of the transponder.

The ID100A is the Trovan transponder without the delivery system that the ID100US gives you. Can be and has been used in Fish research, where insertion of the tag is done with the use of a scalpel.

The ID200 transponder can survive within a cage washer and autoclave making it ideal for identifying cages and/or racks and therefore can stay with cage or rack for its duration within the laboratory.

The ID300 pill type transponder may be used to identify smaller Laboratory equipment and can be counter sunk into cage lids etc. This tag can also withstand the high temperatures of a cage washer or autoclave.

The ID400 transponder is credit card size and comes coated in a durable plastic that may be printed on, this will allow a visual id as well as the reliable electronic id. May be used instead of a cage label or as an employee ID card.

Nano Transponder

The ID-100B(1.25) Implantable Nano Transponder is a reliable, humane technology for animal identification, designed to

provide life-long, positive identification for animals. The ID numbers are fixed during manufacture, and cannot be altered by

third parties. The code uniqueness is protected by patent. The transponder itself is the size of a grain of rice, and is implanted

just below the skin, in a simple procedure much like a vaccination.

Each transponder is encapsulated in special, bio-compatible glass, individually pre-sterilized and packaged in a bubble pack.

It comes ready for application, in its own disposable needle.

The LID572 is a hand held scanner uniquely designed to be used in conjunction with the ID100US micro-transponder. A USB port allows direct communication with a PC or laptop device with the infra red port also available for communication purposes. Optional Bluetooth is available for communication purposes. Large amounts of data can be transferred more rapidly and due to the clock speed of the processor, data searching and recovery is extremely fast. The keyboard wedge software is Windows compatible.

The LID1260 is a table top reader that can read all Trovan® transponder types. It has a large 2x16 character LCD in the front with back light and a viewing area of 99 x 24 mm.The reader operates on mains power and can be switched between 220V & 110V via an external dial.The LID1260 reader supports our custom name assignment feature. This means that instead of the 10 digit unique hexadecimal ID number a custom code of max. 16 characters can be shown on the second row of the LCD. The link between the Trovan® unique ID number and the custom name can be made by using the PC software. The created table can be uploaded to the LID1260 reader. If there is not a custom code assigned the normal unique 10 digit hexadecimal code will be shown. The 10 digit hexadecimal code, or the user defined code can be sent to your computer via the serial port, or Bluetooth if installed.

LID650 Stationary reader w/ANT610 /ANT611

The LID650 is a table top reader and antenna that can read all Trovan® transponder types. The LID650 has been a firm favorite of many of our clients for many years with an IP65 case to protect the electrical components from dust and water damage. The antenna (ANT610) is one of the options that works well in an animal unit as it is also very robust. The ANT611 Antenna is another option for use with the LID650, equally robust it is supplied on a coiled flex to reach down or up for the larger animals in the Laboratory. Also available is a 612 large panel reader for applications such as walk by’s.The proximity to metal however can damage all (always on) antenna's. To get the best use from the reader it is important that it is not located within 15cm of a large metal surface. We can provide a stand for the antenna to help raise it from your work space and not only help protect the reader but also give you more room to work.
