MICROCHIP ID has released a modified version of their successful ANT611 antenna.
Built for endurance and reliability the new ANT611A has undergone stringent prototype
testing simulating the most onerous laboratory conditions. The electronic components in
the antenna have been encased in a special thermostatic resin ensuring maximum
resistance to impact and shock loading. In addition the external connections have been
upgraded from plastic to more robust metal connectors ensuring greater connection
strength and resistance to detachment when fully flexing the attachment cable.
The newly upgraded ANT611A can be used in conjunction with the LID650 stationary
reader delivering a read range of 20cm when used with the ID100US, the smallest tag in
our product range. An antenna stand is also available to isolate the antenna from
contacting metal surfaces.
In combination the above equipment provides the most robust and durable reader system
that will withstand even the most arduous of environments.
