ID100C Read only Transponder

The ID100C Implantable Transponder with Lancet has been designed especially for use in animal identification. Each ID100C transponder is encapsulated in special, biocompatible destressed glass and is laser coded to improve long term component integrity. The transponder comes in a shortened (32mm) and thinner wall cannula allowing improved injection control with a sharper bevel to lessen pressure during injection. The cannula is fixed to the injection device using a luer lock mechanism ensuring a firm and stable interface when injecting the chip. The cannulas are individually pre-sterilized and supplied in bubble pack with individual bar codes. Each comes ready for application in its own disposable needle. All transponders remain active into extended post mortem periods for longer study record archiving.

ID100B/1.4 Mini Transponder

The ID100B/1.4 Mini Transponder is the smallest indelible transponder on the market and is designed to provide a low impact application where a small, unobtrusive ID tag is called for. In conjunction with the short thin walled delivery needle, the system is much less obtrusive, allowing improved control when injecting even the smallest species. Connecting the cannula to the injection device is achieved via a luer lock fitting ensuring a firm and stable interface when injecting the chip. This configuration is also suitable for large scale animal applications requiring the smallest transponders.

The transponder is encapsulated in special, biocompatible glass, individually pre-sterilized and packaged in a bubble pack. It comes ready for application, in its own disposable needle and with 6 each adhesive labels featuring the ID code in human readable (alpha-numeric) and barcode 39 format.  Each ID100B/1.4 Mini’s code uniqueness is protected by patent.

ID100A Read only Transponder

The ID100A is the Trovan transponder without the delivery system that the ID100US gives you. Can be and has been used in Fish research, where insertion of the tag is done with the use of a scalpel.
